Preparing for the Mini Grant Mid-Cycle Gathering

YEFAB will soon be hosting its Mini Grant Mid-Cycle Gathering on Monday, October 29th from 5:30-7:00pm. All of the grantees will be gathering together and networking with each other to share information about their project and its development. All the grantees will also be able to share and advise ideas with each other in attempt to help others with their projects. Grantees are going to share what they have worked on in their project with their peers and in order to make this a successful and memorable event another YEFABer and I met up with Gillian to organize the gathering. We carefully planned the icebreakers and group activities to better help the grantees feel comfortable with each other. We made questions that will construct the group activity, and help the grantees gather constructive and helpful information from one another. To make sure that we were familiar with the order and activates of the gathering we rehearsed to make sure that we had smooth transitions and also have a mutual understand about what we have to do as YEFABers at this important event to have the impact that we want.
