On their way to funding grants, YEF has started the process for 3 year grant funding. For the last few months, youth in San Francisco have been reviewing applicants sent from variois groups who want to implement change.This week, YEFAB members will be interviewing different programs to see what they are all about! Will they implement a successful program and make an impact on their targeted communities? Those are the answers I want to know. With prior information about these groups, YEFAB will go on to talk with these grantees and learn more about their desire of work for change. With more money involved, more responsibility is given to us members. However, this is an opportunity for YEFAB to have a say in what programs will better benefit communities in San Francisco. Today, we'll be meeting with six potential grantees and on Friday we will meet another six. With important debates and decisons coming up, YEFAB alongside YEF staff will make important philanthrophy decisions on funding certain groups. Now it's time for YEFAB to step it up and interview twelve new grantees hoping to receive funding. LET THE PROCESS BEGIN!
