Have you ever wanted to go to China? Have you ever wanted to stay there with a host family and be able to visit a local school and experience the true Chinese culture? Do you enjoy tutoring local Chinese high school students in English? If you answered yes to at least one of these questions, then maybe the Chinese and American Student Educational Exchange Program (CASEEP) is right for you!
This summer, the program will take place from July 14-31st in Guangzhou, China. Participants will stay with a host family, taking part in activities to gain a cultural experience in China while also going to a local high school where they will tutor students in English by discussing issues involving the environment and more.
CASEEP seeks high school and college aged students who will be at least 15 years old by June 1. They will need a minimum of an unweighted cumulative 3.0 GPA. Participants do not need to know Chinese to apply.
The application and the liability waiver are due on April 15, 2012.( http://www.scribd.com/doc/81664744?secret_password=1iuobp74nv3ziiknwaf# )
